minutes from our cabin off Exit 20 of the Adirondack Northway.

Lake George Village
|
You'll find plenty of things to enjoy in Lake George Village including great
restaurants, shopping, boating, parasailing, historical activities, and
much more. Special events include fireworks on each Thursday evening,
concerts, craft shows, etc. Located less than four miles south of our
cabin (take Rt. 9N to Rt. 9 into the village)

Prospect Mountain
|
You can drive your car or hike the Prospect Mountain Trail. At the summit
you have a magnificent view of Lake George and the southern Adirondacks.
The entrance is just south of Lake George Village.

Lake George Cruises
|
Enjoy a scenic cruise along Lake George with narration aboard the Minne-Ha-Ha, Mohican,
Lac de Sacrement, or the Horicon. These cruises leave from Lake George
village. You can enjoy a mid-day cruise, evening dinner cruise, or special
event.

Adirondack Hiking
|
The Adirondacks feature great hiking trails. A number of trails are
located nearby. We suggest referring to a local hiking map for directions.

Fort William Henry
|
Relive the history of the French & Indian War at Fort William Henry.
Great for kids of all ages. The fort inspired James Fenimore
Cooper's Last of the Mohicans. Located in Lake George Village.

Fort Ticonderoga
|
For history buffs, Fort Ticonderoga tells the story of the French during
the French and Indian War and their conflicts with the British. This fort
also played a significant role in the American Revolution. Take a scenic
drive along Lake George north on Route 9N to Ticonderoga. (Stop at The
View restaurant for lunch or dinner.)

Ausable Chasm

Walk through this natural wonder about which President McKinley once said
"No prose, photograph or painting can do justice to the beauty of the
natural wonder of Ausable Chasm." Located just off Exit 34 of the
Adirondack Northway.

Natural Stone Bridge

View caves, grottos, and geological wonders, pan for gemstones, and more. Located only 20 minutes north
of our cabin at Exit 26 of the Adirondack Northway.
